I help justice-oriented organizations, and grassroots groups build capacity, foster collaboration, and develop strategic visions for social change. I’ve spent the past 20 years collaborating, creating, and conspiring with community organizers, artists, writers, and leaders. I bring a unique skillset to the table: I’m a storyteller, a graphic designer, an organizer, a facilitator, and I’ve spent most of my career in nonprofit leadership positions.
I am currently the interim Executive Director of The Visiting Room Project, a community-based archive that centers the stories of people directly impacted by life without parole sentences in Louisiana. I’ve worked on projects with dozens of clients around the country, including Interrupting Criminalization, the ACLU, Just Practice Collaborative, Haymarket Books, Penguin Random House, and Loevy + Loevy. I also serve on the board of the Ministry Against the Death Penalty, led by Sister Helen Prejean.
I love to facilitate creative and strategic conversations, develop programs and resources, and consult on organizational processes. Want to explore working together? Send me a message and let’s have a conversation.
I’ve also written reading and discussion guides for over 40 books. Please use the contact form below to request a free pdf.
